I wrote this

And the wind blew ferociously, whipping my hair to my face. As I spared a glance down, I saw the black waters awaiting my arrival, none too patiently. Smashing against the bridge’s foundations, I feared it would collapse before I jumped. But I soothed myself unconciously; this was the Golden Gate bridge. Surely it had been through more terrible storms than this.

But, alas, I spoke too soon. The ever-holding metal wires began to groan and sway.  I closed my eyes and took my last step forward and into the water.
The wind was deafening; it was greedy, too. I couldn’t breath, it was taking all the air too quickly from me. Impossibly, I cracked my eyes and saw my destination, so close.. So… close….

And all was dark.
